We assume a single life would be incomplete, and quite possibly awful. A 2010 survey of 18- to 25 year-olds found that their biggest fear for the future wasn’t illness or poverty. It was “being alone.”

And when we meet someone who hasn’t married by 40 or 50, we want an explanation. So, we assign one: He’s a commitment-phobe. She’s too picky. They all have “issues.” Because if there was no reason, it could happen to any of us — and that’s not a prospect we’re eager to confront.

Among the band’s most deceptively complex fare, “Lotus Flower” weaves a spartan electronic bass line through a percussive game of patty-cake, while a billowing vocabulary of electronic sounds float into the picture, almost intravenously. Yorke coos as if he’s literally part of the mix. “I will sneak myself into your pocket, invisible,” he sings before confessing to “an empty space inside my heart. - The Washington Post

Google: Life in a Day

I love when film makers bring real aspects of humanity to the eyes of the people. I can’t wait to see how this film pans out; making google an even larger aspect of our lives (as if that were seemingly possible).

Sometimes musicians change for the worse, some for the better and some… just become different. I personally love change. I get tired of listening to the same style over and over again, so it’s refreshing when your favorite artists evolve into something new. Iron & Wine’s new album still sticks to their folk roots, but with added instrumentals, vocals, electronics and blues/rock styles. I saw Iron & Wine perform last night at Amoeba in Hollywood and couldn’t have been more thrilled to purchase their new album on iTunes today. Take a listen to their latest single, Tree by the River, of their new album, Kiss Each Other Clean.
